I wanted to do some beachy cards so I took out my Art Impressions stamps. Decided to start with the boat. I stamped it and then used Elmer's rubber cement to cover it while I worked the background.
I used distress inks with a dauber for the blues and beiges. Then I erased the rubber cement and applied some water color markers on the boat and grass. Quite simple, but I like the result. I used craft cardstock as the border color to help bring out the colors of the boat and sand. Gotta love Pawleys Island.
This card was basically the same technique less the rubber cement. This bordered best with black. It is such a peaceful scene. Can't you hear the seagulls?
Thanks for stopping by.
